KNX Controller Premium 2.0 Switch Relay and Protocol Conversion Features

The KNX Room Controller Premium 2.0 is a sophisticated device that boasts an array of features, including four 16A switch relays, six 10A switch relays, two 1-10V dimmer folds, one AC/Dry contact shutter fold, one fan coil actuator fold, 20 dry contacts, one RS485 Protocol Conversion fold, and one KNX/IP Protocol Conversion fold. This controller is designed for DIN-rail mounting and is identified by the model number AMRP-41/00.2.


In terms of its specifications, the KNX controller weighs 0.7KG and measures 216×90×64 mm. It operates on a voltage range of 21~30V DC, supplied via the KNX bus. The bus current consumption is less than 12mA, while the bus power consumption is less than 360mW. Additionally, it features an auxiliary power supply of 20-30V DC, with a current draw of less than 250mA and a power consumption of less than 6W.


When it comes to output power consumption, the controller excels with less than 1.5W for 16A outputs and less than 1W for 10/6A outputs. The KNX connection is established through bus connection terminals, marked in red and black, for a secure and reliable data transfer.


In terms of protection, the KNX controller meets IP 20 and EN 60 529 standards, ensuring a high level of safety and durability. It can operate within a temperature range of -5 °C to +45 °C, making it suitable for various environments. The storage and transport temperature ranges are -25 °C to +55 °C and -25 °C to +70 °C, respectively. Additionally, the maximum air humidity is less than 93%, excluding conditions of dew.


The modular design of the installation device (MDRC) allows for easy customization and integration. The controller is housed in a sleek white plastic case, complementing any modern interior. With its comprehensive features and robust construction, this KNX controller is a reliable choice for any smart home or building automation system.
